Since my last posting, I have had a run in with a Mountain Lion up at Wilder Ranch and have been sick with a sinus infection.....We went out to NB for a few days in a row, and then Pete recommended Wilder Ranch. Our first day out we took the Cowboy Loop and on the way down a steep trail we spotted a Mountain Lion (or so we thought) just kicking it in a field. Pete took a bunch of pictures and upon closer inspection it was actually a Bobcat. I was super freaked at the time, and it became such a tale that by the end it was pretty much like a Sasquatch sighting, no one really believed us. After the Lockness Monster sighting, we decided to take the coastal trails at Wilder, and MAN what a spectacular place. We are on our way there this morning and hopefully all the sea creatures and Mountain Lions and Bears will be asleep!
